The Holocaust – We Must Remember

From late October 1997 thru March 1998, Radio Talk Show host Roger Fredinburg delivered an interview series titled: The Holocaust, We Must Remember. This series included interviews with Holocaust Survivors, historians and people involved with the various Holocaust Museums.

Recently the recordings of Roger’s interviews were rediscovered. Thanks to the hard work by Kelleigh Nelson (who inspired, produced and researched every detail of this series), these recordings have been converted from cassettes to digital files and are available for purchase. These interviews contain incredible historical information as well as first person accounts of one of the darkest periods of our modern times. From a eye-witness account of the night Austria was annexed by Hitler to stories of survival in Auschwitz, these recordings are rich with history and detail of the Nazi attempt to exterminate the Jewish people during World War II.

Interviews:

Why do we feel it’s important to remember the Holocaust?

The following quote says it best – “Those who don’t know history are destined to repeat it.” – Edmund Burke (1729-1797)

Today there are those who try to deny the atrocity of the events of the holocaust.

We cannot allow the death of nearly6,000,000 Jews become swept under the carpet.

15,000,000 Allied Soldiers died along with over 28,000,000  civilians.

Over 8,000,000 Axis Soldiers were dead together with over 4,000,000 German civilians.

Over 55,000,000 lives lost because of one power hungry, predjudiced individual.

We must learn from this event and never allow it to be repeated ever again.

What are the interviews about?

They cover a variety of events that occured in the lives of 20 first hand observers and survivors as well as historians and other interested parties.

How can I hear the interviews?

We have created a website that has available all of these historic interviews. On this site you will find 24 separate interviews. Each full interview may be purchased individually for $6.95.

Soon we will be releasing the entire interview series on 2 CD’s as well as a book of the written transcripts.

A portion of all sales of these interviews will be donated to organizations dedicated to preserving holocaust history.

Take a listen, and hear history first hand, and more importantly don’t forget- We Must Remember!!

Special thanks to Chey Simington for her tireless efforts assisting Kelleigh in the development of the original series, and for her transcription work of the entire series.
Their love for the Jewish people and their dedication to this project is the force that made this project possible and we are deeply grateful for them and their hard work.
