U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) speaks in favor of term limits. Sadly, the Senate rejected DeMint’s term limits amendment 24-75. It is clear that those in power do not want to give up that power. It reminds me of the Star Wars movies where Chancellor Palpetine becomes the Emperor. We need term limits before anything else. Only then will we the people have the opportunity to take back our country.

A new study from the Congressional Budget Office undercuts the argument from progressive policy shops and union leaders that government workers make less money than their counterparts in the private sector. In this report, it is revealed that federal workers earn, on average, 16% more than comperable private sector employees. This takes into account both wage and benefits. “One bankruptcy may be a fluke, two could be coincidence, but three is a trend,” Rep. Cliff Stearns, R-Fla said. “Our investigation continues, and we are working to ensure taxpayers are never again stuck paying hundreds of millions of dollars because of the administration’s risky bets.” In his state of the union speach, President Obama said that we need to keep investing in “green” energy as it will provide the jobs of the future. Of course, the president also killed the Keystone pipeline deal that would have provided hundreds, if not thousands, of jobs for the present. One thing is clear, President Obama is a lousy investment portfolio manager. Can we really afford to keep him in this postion any longer? Tuesday, January 17th, 2012 by admin

Snail mail will now reach an all time slow speed. Cutting service and increasing prices are a certain prescription for failure. Does this move increase efficiency? Not likely as they say it will slow down delivery times. The larger trouble is that this organization has not figured out how to compete in thoday’s market. This also exposes just why government should never be involved in business. Monday, December 5th, 2011 by admin
This is a clear case of the double standard that union leasders and liberals in general use. It is ok for the head of a teachers union to make fun of the Sec. of Education’s lisp, along with other denigrating statements, yet when she is held accountable for her words, she resorts the the blame shifting game. Unfortunately, these are the people who are taking charge of our nations fialing public school system. Friday, December 2nd, 2011 by admin
