Osama bin Laden is experiencing one of death’s disadvantages: his dirty laundry is being exposed especially his penchant for viewing pornography. Among the items recovered from his hideout in Pakistan, the Navy SEALs confiscated a “stash” of pornographic material.

While not much is known about bin Laden’s sexual proclivities, the discovery of pornographic material shouldn’t shock most Americans since radical Muslims also share a penchant for hypocrisy when it comes to deviant sexual behavior.

As reported earlier this year by the Law Enforcement Examiner, one issue that’s avoided is the widespread sexual intercourse between Afghan Taliban men and young boys. In non- diplomatic terms, Afghanistan is a haven for child rape.

In a religion some consider overly repressive due to its adherence to the precepts contained in the Koran, it’s difficult for American servicemembers and diplomats to understand the fact that a large portion of the Afghan male population are pedophiles (adults who enjoy sexual contact with prepubescent children) or pederasts (adults who enjoy sexual relations with pubescent or post-pubescent children).

While Muslims in Iraq have on several occasions stoned homosexuals for their sexual activities, not all Muslims believe pedophilia is a violation of Shariah law. Those who believe in the sacredness and infallibility of the Koran adhere to the teaching that women are sub-human and quasi-slaves, and therefore Muslim men will look for relationships — even sexual relationships — with others of their own gender.

According to Reuters, there is a lot of homosexuality going on in Afghanistan, but those engaging in it don’t think of themselves as gay, so that makes it okay since Islam officially disapproves of the gay and lesbian lifestyle.

“The President implying, we’ve done enough, the border is secure, does not make it so. Our border is definitely not secure. The Government Accountability Office has determined that only 15 percent of the border is under operational control. The time has come for real action, not words.” – Congressman Peter King (R-NY)

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama’s visit to southern Texas to discuss immigration and border security opened the door to renewed debate on amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.

Fresh from his Osama Victory Tour, Obama capitalized on his increased popularity due to the killing of terrorism chief Osama bin Laden in hopes of shoring up his Latino vote with the promise of amnesty, while at the same time praising his administration’s immigration policies.

Obama claimed he increased the number of Border Patrol agents from about 10,000 to more than 20,700. However, an examination of records reveals that the increase in border agents occurred during the Bush Administration when the number of agents reached upwards of 18,000 in 2008.

In addition, the President touted his Homeland Security Department statistics that claimed his administration deported a record number of illegal aliens, most of whom had a criminal records.

“Detainee reporting accounts for more than half of all HUMINT [human intelligence] reporting on al-Qaeda since the program began…”

Documents recently released by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) demonstrate the valuable information gained by so-called “enhanced interrogation techniques,” that ultimately led to the recent killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. A non-partisan watchdog group obtained the documents as a result of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.

In March 2011, Judicial Watch — a public-interest organization that investigates and prosecutes government corruption — released documents obtained from the Department of Defense (DOD) detailing the policies of the Bush administration related to the detention of “enemy combatants” at Guantanamo Bay, as well as the significant risks posed to the general population if the detainees were released.

The documents include a February 4, 2004, draft presentation entitled “Guantanamo Detainees” previously marked “Not for Public Dissemination.” It specifically references the role of “couriers” in the bin Laden network, noting that enemy combatants at Guantanamo Bay include “members of al-Qaeda’s international terrorism support network, including financiers, couriers, recruiters and operatives.”

The DOD documents obtained by Judicial Watch further state that “Detainees have revealed al-Qaeda leadership structures, operatives, funding mechanisms, communications methods, training and selection programs, travel patterns, support infrastructures, and plans for attacking the United States and other countries” and “information on [Osama bin Laden] personal security procedures.”

This is consistent with documents previously obtained in a separate Judicial Watch lawsuit that detail the overall effectiveness of “enhanced interrogation techniques” against captured terrorists.

America’s ‘happiness will turn to sadness,’ it says, vows to release bin Laden audiotape

msnbc.com news services

CAIRO — Al-Qaida on Friday confirmed the killing of Osama bin Laden and warned of retaliation, saying America’s “happiness will turn to sadness.”

The confirmation came in an Internet statement posted on militant websites, signed by “the general leadership” of al-Qaida.

The announcement opens the way for the group to name a successor to bin Laden.

His deputy Ayman al-Zawahri is now the most prominent figure in the group and is a very likely contender to take his place. The U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, thought to be hiding in Yemen, has also been mentioned as a possible successor.

The statement, dated May 3, was the first by the terror network since bin Laden was killed Monday by U.S. commandos in a raid on his hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

Video: Analyst: Bin Laden not easily replaceable (on this page)
The statement’s authenticity could not be independently confirmed, but it was posted on websites where the group traditionally puts out its messages.

The statement vowed that al-Qaida would not deviate from the path of armed struggle and said bin Laden’s blood “is more precious to us and to every Muslim than to be wasted in vain.”

‘Curse that chases’ Americans
“It (bin Laden’s blood) will remain, with permission from Allah the Almighty, a curse that chases the Americans and their agents, and goes after them inside and outside their countries,” the militant network said in a statement released on Islamist Internet forums and translated by the SITE monitoring service.

“Soon, God willing, their happiness will turn to sadness,” it added, “their blood will be mingled with their tears.”

In the statement, al-Qaida also called on the people of Pakistan — “on whose land Sheikh Osama was killed” — to rise up in revolt against its leaders “to cleanse this shame that has been attached to them by a clique of traitors and thieves … and in general to cleanse their country from the filth of the Americans who spread corruption in it.”

The writers of the statement appeared unaware of the announcement by American officials that bin Laden’s body had been buried at sea.

The statement warned against mishandling or mistreating bin Laden’s body and demanded that be handed over to his family, saying “any harm (to the body) will open more doors of evil, and there will be no one to blame but yourselves.”

The statement also said that an audio message bin Laden recorded a week before his death would be issued soon.

It stressed that the organization would not collapse, despite bin Laden’s death.

“It is impossible, impossible. Sheik Osama didn’t build an organization to die when he dies,” the statement read. “The university of faith, Quran and jihad from which bin Laden graduated will not close its doors,” it added. “The soldiers of Islam will continue in groups and united, plotting and planning without getting bored, tired, with determination, without giving up until striking a blow.”

By Charles Riley, CNN staff reporter

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — Oil prices plunged more than 8% Thursday as weak economic data and a strengthening dollar drove crude to its biggest one-day drop since April 2009.

The main U.S. oil contract for June delivery settled down $9.44, or 8.6%, to $99.80 a barrel. That’s its lowest level since mid-March and marks its biggest one-day percentage drop in two years. Brent crude, the European benchmark, fell $10.73 to $110.46 a barrel.

The broad underlying fear is that the U.S. economy is slowing down, and traders have a slew of data to back that theory.

On Thursday, a government report showed the number of people filing first-time unemployment claims surged to 474,000 in the latest week — its highest total in 8 months. That means less demand for oil products because if you don’t have a job, chances are you’re trying conserve on gas and other energy costs.

In fact, a government report released Wednesday indicated Americans are consuming less gasoline due to sky-high prices.

According to a government official familiar with the report, it was something much more unusual.

Excerpt from Rush Limbaugh as posted on rushlimbaugh.com:

RUSH: You know, I’m thinking about the Bin Laden photos that will not be released. Snerdley just had a good point. I remember when I was a kid — and I’ve seen them myself; you probably have, too. Back in the days of Capone and Baby Face Nelson, Dillinger and all those guys, whenever J. Edgar Hoover wiped these guys out — whenever there was a successful slaughter — the pictures were all over the newspapers. The blood, the guts, the gore, the pasta (if it happened at a restaurant). Speaking of that there were pictures of Paul Castellano on the street in front of Sparks Steak House when Gotti rubbed him out!

How did our parents ever survive the trauma, ladies and gentlemen? How did our parents ever survive? Look at the gore and the blood and the guts in Clinton Eastwood movies, or any other set of movies. Lordy, how have we ever survived? I remember… Folks, when I lived in Kansas City (which was 1979 through 1983) there was a local cable access host by the name of L. L. Edge, and every two weeks L. L. Edge ran a long-form special on the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre at the Kansas City train station, and it had still shots of a bunch of mobsters being blown away. In fact, speaking of which, the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre today would be a minor little gang skirmish, but it was huge back then.

But the point is, there were all these pictures still shots of blood guts and gore that L. L. Edge just loved showing everybody. (interruption) Well, no, it wasn’t every two weeks (laughing) but it seemed like it! It was his favorite show. I remember being on the radio and talking about it: “Who is L. L. Edge?” He was one of those guys that knows everybody in town but nobody knows him. (laughing) I’m just kidding. Wouldn’t gory photos of a dead terrorist, if we’re talking about influence, maybe influence you into NOT ending up that way? Well, just the counterpoint to this notion that it’s a recruitment tool.

“Oh, yeah, I want to end up like that! Where do I sign up?” Where’s Zawahiri saying, “I want to end up just like Bin Laden!” Is that what the effect of the picture’s going to be? Now, if as I was saying, make the point that terrorism doesn’t pay. If your spouse has three different versions of a night out with the girls, she’s hiding something, right? No question about it, right? If your spouse has three different versions of a night out with the boys, he’s hiding something. Probably. Either that or he or she was so drunk they can’t remember and they have to make up different stories, but probably they’re hiding something.

Top members of the U.S. House of Representatives on Friday called on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to support the designation of certain Mexican drug cartels as terrorist organizations.

U.S. Rep. Peter T. King (R-NY), Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, and Rep. Michael T. McCaul, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Management also requested that Secretary Clinton develop a comprehensive strategy to assist the Mexican government win their war against the violent and deadly cartels such as Los Zetas, who are suspected of murdering an American law enforcement agent.

In a joint letter to Secretary Clinton, the Members wrote that “the Mexican drug cartels present a dangerous threat to the national security of the United States.”

The Members urged Clinton to “use every capability of the U.S. Government to counter this growing threat to our economy, our security and well being of our citizens. Equally as important, we must make sure Mexico does not become a failed state and yet another haven for terrorists.”

The request came as Secretary Clinton hosted the Mexican Foreign Minister, Patricia Espinosa, at the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C.

It started with one whistleblower, but now involves dozens of investigators, has created a standoff between the Department of Justice and lawmakers and threatens Mexico’s diplomatic relationship with the United States.

Friction is growing over the probe into the failed “Project Gunrunner” program — run by the Justice Department’s Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms that intended to stop the flow of guns to criminals in Mexico. Whistleblowers claim the bureau actually encouraged the illegal sale of firearms to known criminals, then allowed those guns to be smuggled to Mexico and tracked.

On Tuesday, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) went after Attorney General Eric Holder for refusing to answer questions and subpoenas for documents that implicate who approved the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives project that allowed guns purchased illegally in U.S. to be smuggled into Mexico on behalf of the drug cartels with the knowledge and consent of the ATF.

“We’re not looking at straw buyers, Mr. Attorney General, we’re looking at you,” Issa said. “We’re looking at you, we’re looking at your key people who knew or should’ve known about this.”

Holder shot back.

“The notion that somehow or another that this Justice Department is responsible for those deaths, that assertion is offensive,” Holder said, referring to the death of American Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

“What if it’s accurate, Mr. Attorney General?” Issa responded. “What am I going to tell Agent Terry’s mother about how he died at the hands of a gun that was videotaped as it was being sold to a straw purchaser fully expecting it to end up in the hands of drug cartels?”

Holder responded. “We’ll have to see exactly what happened with regard to the guns that are an issue there.”

Also on Tuesday, in a letter to the attorney general signed by both Issa and Sen.Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), the Congressmen say they are “disappointed that you do not appear to be taking this issue seriously enough”. Grassley, in a handwritten postscript, tells Holder he is being ‘ill-served’ by staff who are not telling him the whole story.

The theatre on the Hill is an outgrowth of an ongoing investigation that dates back to allegations two months ago from ATF agent John Dodson, a lone voice and career agent who told Fox News in March that the tactic of letting guns “walk” was approved by his supervisors in the Phoenix ATF office over the objections of several agents.

“How many people have to die?” he said. “We don’t know where those guns are gonna end up. I’ve been here since the beginning. Tell me I didn’t do the things that I did. Tell me you didn’t order me to do the things I did. Tell me it didn’t happen.”

This week, the Government Accountability Office submitted a report to the U.S. Congress addressing the foreign aid earmarked for police agencies in nations that deal with terrorism, narcotics trafficking and other criminal activities such as Pakistan. The rationale for such aid is that these terrorists, narco-terrorists and criminal enterprises have an impact on U.S. national security.

Over the past few years, the United States has increased its emphasis on training and equipping foreign police as a means of supporting a wide range of U.S. foreign-policy goals, including countering terrorists overseas and stopping the flow of narcotics to the United States.

Funding for these activities has increased significantly since the GAO last reported on these issues in 1992.

In response to congressional request, GAO analysts estimated the amount of the funding the U.S. government provided for activities to train and equip foreign police, referred to as “police assistance,” during fiscal year 2009. Also, the GAO defined “police” as all law-enforcement units or personnel with arrest, investigative, or interdiction authorities.

A U.S. intelligence operation in Pakistan killed al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden Sunday, President Barack Obama announced in a nationally televised address from the White House at 11:36 PM (EST), Sunday night.

It was revealed that shortly after taking office in January 2009, Obama ordered Director of Central Intelligence Leon E. Panetta to make bin Laden’s death or capture the top priority of the U.S. war against the al-Qaeda terrorist organization, according to John Banusiewicz of the American Forces Press Service.

“Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by our intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground,” Obama said.

The president said he met repeatedly with his national security team as information developed indicating bin Laden was at a compound in Pakistan, and that last week he determined enough information was available and authorized the operation.

“Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan,” Obama said. “A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability.

In spite of the latest illegal alien crime statistics, a de facto war raging in Mexico, the U.S. facing an eventual bankrupt economy, and the continued “jobless recovery” touted by the Obama Administration sycophants and “protectors” in the news media, the progressives in Washington, D.C. — including President Barack Obama — have increased their pandering to lawbreakers, claim administration critics.

America’s progress is “impossible” if Hispanics keep lagging in education because their success is of “immediate and long term importance” to the U.S. economy, states a new Obama Administration report that vows to enhance opportunities for the “Latino community.” The report was immediately examined by a public-interest group that investigates political corruption and fraud.

Published this week by the Department of Education, the report (Winning the Future; Improving Education for the Latino Community) says that the success of Hispanics in education and in the labor market is crucial to the nation’s economy, according to a report from Judicial Watch.

This report — which reads like a promotional advertisement selling an unpopular product –comes as president Obama launches a full-throttle campaign pandering to immigrants and their liberal advocates, as part of his hopes of garnering the full support of the political left, while at the same time fooling moderates into believing he’s a centrist, claim immigration reform advocates.

According to Judicial Watch, the report was conveniently released to coincide with Obama’s junior college commencement speech on Friday in Miami, Florida, which has an immense Hispanic population that includes many illegal immigrants.

The alleged leader of the Arellano-Felix Organization was extradited Friday by the government of Mexico to the U. S. to face racketeering, money laundering and narcotics trafficking charges in the Southern District of California.

Alberto Benjamin Arellano-Felix was captured by Mexican authorities in 2002. While extradition to the United States was granted in 2007, there were years of unsuccessful motions and appeals until Arellano-Felix finally arrived in the United States on Friday.

Law enforcement officials who spoke to Law Enforcement Examiner claim this extradition is a message to Americans from the Mexican government that the Calderon Administration is serious about cooperating with the U.S.

“While this is a big catch for Mexico, their officials want to show that Calderon’s comments are politically motivated when he’s critical of the U.S., and that he’s willing to do what it takes to work with U.S. law enforcement to capture, try and convict top organized crime figures,” said former narcotics officer John Kubitz.

“It also removes a threat to Mexican government officials who know that the cartels are not afraid to assassinate top officials. With Arrellano-Felix in the United States, a threat may have been removed,” said Kubitz.

In keeping with the Democrat Party trend of appointing party sycophants to key leadership positions in Washington, D.C., President Barack Obama today nominated CIA Director Leon Panetta as the next defense secretary.

If confirmed by the U.S. Senate, he’ll replace Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates who will leave the Pentagon on June 30.

Gates was sworn in on December 18, 2006 replacing Secretary Donald Rumsfeld in the George W. Bush Administration. As the 22nd Secretary of Defense, Gates is the only U.S. Secretary of Defense in history to be asked to remain in that office by a newly elected president.

While many wondered what Obama was thinking when he placed Bill Clinton-retread Panetta in charge of the most powerful intelligence agency in the world, even more are wondering what Obama has in mind for the U.S. military with his nomination of an inside-the-Beltway elitist whose biggest military achievement was working for the draft-dodging President Bill Clinton.

During the Clinton scandals, Human Events said this about Panetta: “The media has lost count of all the shills the Clintons have sent out to do their dirty work with the press and the talk shows, from Leon Panetta and Lanny Davis to David Kendall and Jim Carville. There is no end to the line of opportunists prepared to face the public in defense of a rogue President and a corrupt administration.”

Update: 04/27/2011.

Since writing this article last year I have been amazed to see the governments of various states begin to strip away at the power of the public unions. From New Jersey to Wisconsin we are witnessing a massive pushback against union bargaining power. When I wrote this article, I felt that it would be just a matter of time before those in government would finally view unions as a threat and not a partner. Still, I did not think it would begin so soon.

If you are a member of a union, I recommend that you read this artcle. It is my firm beleif that your leadership is completely blind to what is coming and will ultimately sell you down the river. I am not a huge fan of unions, but I can see that there is a beneficial place for them in our economy. If union leadership doesn’t abandon their greedy power grab and figure out how to work with corporate and governmental leaders in a way that benefits all concerned…well read the article and see for your self.

UNIONS NEED CAPTIALISM TO SURVIVE!

Recently, I was reading an interesting article about a dilemma currently being faced by the Chinese government. It seems that the younger workers are no longer motivated to work hard by simple patriotism or love of country, they want to be paid. China has created an economic system that tries to blend the basic tenets of Communism with the economic workings of Capitalism. The end result has been a class of workers who have tasted what it is like to live in the USA. Freedom and affluence are like crack cocaine, very addicting, the more you get the more you want.  In order to keep production levels high, the manufacturing facilities now have to offer more pay and benefits to these younger workers, thus driving up the cost of labor. I find it interesting that a purely Socialist government has had to resort to a purely Capitalist way of thinking to inspire their labor force.

This problem has been in development for several decades. In 1978, the Chinese government ratified a new constitution that has many basic elements built into it that resemble the US Constitution. It has provisions for freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and other similar freedoms that we enjoy in the US. All of this is predicated on this simple foundation: The government is pre-eminent over all other things. The Chinese Constitution clearly states that ALL freedoms are allowed as long as they don’t interfere with, hinder, or harm the government and its activities. You are free to say whatever you want as long as it doesn’t harm the government and so on. I believe that this was created for 2 simple reasons: 1) To pacify the growing number of Chinese people who were rejecting the Maoist teachings and communistic regimes. 2) To entice the large, multi-national corporations to relocate manufacturing operations in mainland China.

By offering up a “new” constitutional structure that gives some façade of freedoms to a people that had formerly only known oppression, China was able to make itself appear to be moving to a more contemporary governmental entity. It also opened the door for a new “state approved” class of private business ownership. The leaders found out that if you gave a few people something tangible and promised that same thing to the others if they would cooperate, you would now have a motivated work force. Combining that with a new relationship being developed with several major US corporations that were looking to escape the ever increasing burdens of excessive regulation and stifling taxes, China now had a recipe for economic growth.

This all works fine if your work force can be controlled, but things will begin to breakdown as people gain a taste for affluence and power. This is exactly what is happening in China now as a new class of private wealth has begun to emerge. This wealth class has developed a power base that is beginning to rival that of the Communist government itself. What is amazing to me is that a purely capitalist economy is developing in the midst of a totalitarian governmental regime. As a result, China is facing the prospect of dealing with an internal revolution for control of the economy.

One of the signs that show this is the increase in “unauthorized” labor strikes. Here is something that ALL UNION MEMBERS should pay attention to, it is ILLEGAL to form or organize a labor union in China. That’s right; unions are illegal in this openly socialist country. The only sanctioned union is one run by and for the government. Now it has always been my understanding that the purpose of a union was to create a negotiating tool that works for the benefit of those members it represents. A group of people come together and select a representative who then presents their unified request for a labor agreement. It has always amazed me that unions and their collective members seem to be embracing the same socialist concepts that, if implemented,  would ultimately result in their destruction as an organization. If the SEIU or UAW tried to organize in China, the leaders would be jailed and the workers punished. If they tried to complain to the press they, and any portion of the press that aided them, would be jailed and tried as agents of dissention and treason. There is no possible way that a labor union could ever survive under a socialist regime, it would represent to much competition for power and thus be eliminated.

Yet, back here in the good old USA, we have all of these unions clamoring and pushing for regulation and governmental controls that will ultimately result in the same type of socialist government that is in existence in China. To put it more bluntly, UNIONS NEED CAPTIALISM TO SURVIVE! Without a privately owned, free market economic base, the labor unions will cease to have any function or need for being. Major unions need major corporations, period.

If the union rank and file members don’t rise up and demand of their leaders a change of focus where government is concerned, those same members and leaders will ultimately loose all that they have worked for. If the government employment sector grows to a size and power that gives it complete sway over the entire labor picture, unions will be doomed. SEIU, NEA, AFLCIO and any other union that derives its contracts from the government will no longer be needed or welcome by that same government.

It is a fact that ALL socialist governments have only ONE central power center. In China it is the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Cuba has Castro, Venezuela has Chavez. There can only be one center of control under this type of governmental structure. There is no room or need for anything that might challenge or undermine that power base, so good bye unions.

Now it can be said that unions are a major contributor to the problems of excessive cost and regulation, but, it is also possible that these same unions with better organization and understanding of what is at stake can play a significant role in repairing the damage done.

In short, unions need for government to remain small and limited in power. They also need for large corporations to be both healthy and profitable. If these things don’t happen, these same unions can plan on going out of business.

Think about it.

In what’s being characterized as Mexico’s latest attempt to squeeze the United States for more cash, the officials of that corrupt and impoverished country announced yesterday they’ve hired a United States law firm in order to sue the U.S. gun industry.

President Felipe Calderon and other Mexican government officials are accusing American manufacturers and retailers of providing the guns that are illegally exported to Mexico by the drug cartels.

With the Mexican officials admitting that 35,000 people have been killed in Mexico since Calderon became President of Mexico in 2006 at which time he declared all-out war on the drug cartels and their associates, observers believe these officials are seeking to put the blame for the death and violence on their northern neighbor.

Also, the U.S. Department of State re-issued a travel advisory to Americans about the violence and danger that exists in Mexico, including its resort areas such as Acapulco and Cancun. In Acapulco, police discovered mass graves containing the remains of people allegedly murdered by the cartels such as Los Zetas.

The latest advisory warns about risks of attack in nearly every part of Mexico. Previous advisories warned of violence in specific parts of Mexico, most notably Juarez, where drug gangs are murdering one another for control of trafficking routes into the U.S.

A federal law enforcement official told the Law Enforcement Examiner that the U.S. Justice Department is trying to avoid involvement in the Mexican government’s plan to sue gun manufacturers and retailers in American courts.
