Pakistani police officers thwarted an assassination plot targeting President Asif Ali Zardari it was reported on Sunday in Islamabad. Police arrested eight suspected terrorists from Islamabad and Punjab provinces who are believed to have been plotting the assassination.

According to a police source in the Middle East, the Pakistani security force intercepted a call after being informed about a plan that terrorists plotted to kill Zardari, leading to arrest of four men in the capital and the rest of the suspects in different regions of Punjab.
Both the Pakistani Taliban and al-Qaeda threatened attacks on the government and military in their bid to take revenge of killing of world’s most wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden on May 1 by U.S. Navy SEALs.

The bin Laden operation was the culmination of years of careful and highly advanced intelligence work as officers from the CIA, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency worked as a team to analyze and pinpoint the Pakistani compound where bin Laden was killed.

The possible killing of another notorious Pakistani terrorist Ilyas Kashmiri, who is believed to have masterminded Mumbai attacks, may have added fuel to the fire.

It’s not know at this point if President Barack Obama’s Free Gaza friends –Weather Underground founders William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn who perpetrated a series of terrorist attacks in the U.S., and Jodie Evans, the leader of the radical activist organization Code Pink, who worked on the Obama campaign and California Governor Jerry Brown’s campaign — are involved today.

Protesters clashed with Israeli security forces during a protest that quickly turned into a riot on Sunday. According to a Law Enforcement Examiner source in Israel, so far 20 protesters have been killed after grenades were thrown at IDF soldiers from the Golan Heights, according to the source.

A group referring to itself as the Committee Preparing the Return March is marking today’s Naksa Day — the day commemorating the Arab defeat in the Six Day War — with marches to the borders of Israel (referred to as “occupied Palestine”) from Syria, Lebanon, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

The committee also called for Palestinian refugees to fly to Israel’s airports (the airports of “occupied Palestine”) on regular commercial flights. Hamas’ call for a day of commemoration is backed by practical preparations carried out by pro-Palestinian activists.

However, the idea of sending Palestinian refugees (or their descendents) to a propaganda display at Ben-Gurion Airport to raise public consciousness for the so-called “right of return” and to embarrass Israel has been tinkered with for the past year by the networks and organizations participating in the campaign to de-legitimize Israel.

“With Internet journalists, political activists and public-interest groups investigating allegations made against the Obama Administration, is it any wonder the President unleashed high-tech Brown Shirts to harass, threaten, ridicule and marginalize Obama watchdogs?”

While members of America’s Fourth Estate appear to be taking an extensive hiatus from conducting investigative news gathering regarding the current Administration, Internet journalists, bloggers, talk radio hosts and public-interest groups have been uncovering numerous cases of government corruption, fraud and unethical behavior in Washington, D.C.

For example, a legal watchdog group that investigates and prosecutes government fraud and corruption is probing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s alleged connections to lobbyists, according to a report released on Friday.

The details surrounding the State Department’s expected approval of a controversial oil pipeline are being kept secret in an apparent effort to conceal impropriety created by the tight knit relationship between Hillary Clinton and the lobbyist pushing the multi billion-dollar project, according to Judicial Watch.

The Secretary of State must approve the permit for the Canada-to-Texas pipeline, known as Keystone XL, which will span nearly 2,000 miles and transport around 1 million barrels of heavy crude oil daily across six states. Predicting opposition from environmental groups, the Canadian company behind the mega project hired one of Clinton’s national campaign directors (Paul Elliott) as its chief lobbyist.

“It may be an ‘Arab Spring’ for [President Barack Obama], but Hamza will never see another Summer nor will he experience falling in love and fathering a family. He will never experience freedom.”

A young boy is quickly becoming a martyr for the thousands of Syrian rebels calling for the end of Bashar Al-Assad’s brutal and oppressive Ba’ath Party government.

The youngster, identified by rebels as Hamza Al-Khatib, was helping to deliver relief supplies of food, blankets and medicine to the residents of the Syrian district of Daraa who were being prevented from leaving their home by the Syrian military.

A U.S. intelligence source tells the Law Enforcement Examiner that 13-year old was arrested and tortured to death by members of the Syrian secret police. His body four weeks turned up four-weeks later when it was left in front of his home wrapped in plastic. His parents were further shocked to discover his genitalia were sliced off.

After several months of calling for U.S. government action to sanction Venezuela’s state run oil company Petroleos de Venezuela, S.A. for doing business with Iran, Chairman of the House Western Hemisphere Subcommittee Rep. Connie Mack (R-FL) applauded the U.S. State Department’s decision to finally sanction Venezuela’s state-owned oil corporation yesterday.

Congressman Mack stated: “The sanctions on PDVSA are an important step in the right direction for U.S. policy toward the region; however, we must acknowledge that PDVSA’s shipments are only one example of Hugo Chavez’s support for the terrorist supporting Iranian regime.”

Reports of Iranian missile bases in Venezuela, the increasing presence of Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, and yesterday’s sanctioning of Venezuelan Military Industries Company show just how dangerous the Venezuela-Iranian relationship has become.

Congressman Mack also renewed his call on former Congressman Joe Kennedy to again step aside as “pitchman” for CITGO, the American subsidiary of PDVSA, a call Mack has made repeatedly since 2007.

Psychopathy is a personality disorder manifested in people who use a mixture of charm, manipulation, intimidation, and occasionally violence to control others, in order to satisfy their own selfish needs.

Although the concept of psychopathy has been known for centuries, the FBI leads the world in the research effort to develop a series of assessment tools, to evaluate the personality traits and behaviors attributable to psychopaths.

Interpersonal traits include glibness, superficial charm, a grandiose sense of self-worth, pathological lying, and the manipulation of others. The affective traits include a lack of remorse and/or guilt, shallow affect, a lack of empathy, and failure to accept responsibility. The lifestyle behaviors include stimulation-seeking behavior, impulsivity, irresponsibility, parasitic orientation, and a lack of realistic life goals.

Research has demonstrated that in those criminals who are psychopathic, scores vary, ranging from a high degree of psychopathy to some measure of psychopathy. However, not all violent offenders are psychopaths and not all psychopaths are violent offenders. If violent offenders are psychopathic, they are able to assault, rape, and murder without concern for legal, moral, or social consequences. This allows them to do what they want, whenever they want. Ironically, these same traits exist in men and women who are drawn to high-profile and powerful positions in society including political officeholders.

It’s spoiled millionaire athletes vs. the evil billionare owners…pt.2.

Chris Sheridan / Espn.com

NEW YORK — The union for NBA players filed an unfair labor practices complaint with the National Labor Relations Board Tuesday, on seeking an injunction that would prevent owners from imposing a lockout when the current collective bargaining agreement expires June 30.

The players’ union, less than a month after receiving the latest formal proposal from the owners, is accusing the owners of negotiating in bad faith.

The complaint, in part, alleges the NBA is “making harsh, inflexible, and grossly regressive ‘takeaway’ demands that the NBA knows are not acceptable to the Union.”

The complaint further alleges the NBA is engaging in “classic ‘take it or leave it’ and surface bargaining” with the intent of running out the clock on the CBA, “until the NBA locks out the represented employees in order to coerce them into accepting the NBA’s harsh and regressive demands.”

The NBA did not immediately comment on the complaint.

Sources have told ESPN.com that the players were so infuriated by the owners’ latest proposal, which seeks a nearly 40 percent rollback in existing contracts over three years and a hard salary cap, that the union would explore a variety of legal options before presenting another formal counterproposal.

The sides are scheduled to have a formal bargaining session with the owners’ labor committee and the players’ executive board during the NBA Finals in Dallas or Oklahoma City.

Tuesday’s filing with the NLRB marked a sharp turn in negotiating strategy after the sides had held several rounds of informal discussions over the past several weeks.

The filing comes just eight days after the death of the union’s No. 2 executive, Gary Hall, and moves the dispute into a different forum through which the players will attempt to gain negotiating leverage.

In a statement, the union said the unfair practices included failure to bargain in good faith, demanding huge financial takeaways from prior contracts without offering concessions in return, bypassing the Union to deal directly with players and threatening an unlawful lockout.

This week, U.S. officials believe, there will be discussions between President Barack Obama and Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron during the president’s trip to the U.K. that will result in more intelligence being shared between the two allies, a U.S. counterrorism official told the Law Enforcement Examiner.

According to British police officials on Friday, MI5 received intelligence from the U.S. intelligence community regarding a suspected Osama bin Laden terrorist attack dubbed the “Easter shopping” terrorist plot. The information is contained in computer files seized by U.S. special forces when they raided bin Laden’s hideout on May 1.

This was first top-secret intelligence to have been passed back from the bin Laden operation that left the terror master dead, a government source told the Law Enforcement Examiner.

A Manchester terrorist cell comprised of radical Islamic immigrants was suspected of plotting to blow up landmarks in the city during the Easter holiday was arrested in 2009. But Scotland Yard and the Crown Prosecutors Service lacked sufficient evidence to press charges and the allegations of ill treatment by British interrogators at the time were being for MPs, lawyers, human rights groups, and news reporters made it difficult to pursue the case.

As a result of what’s being characterized as collusion between the Obama White House and the left-wing American Civil Liberties Union, U.S. Department of Homeland Security officials have suspended the scheduled deportation of an illegal immigrant at the ACLU’s request, according to a public-interest watchdog group based in Washington, D.C.

This move is part of a bigger plan to perhaps eliminate the federal program (Secure Communities) that identified the illegal alien in the first place, according to Judicial Watch, an organization that investigates and prosecutes political and government corruption.

The influential open borders movement — which includes the ACLU — has aggressively pressured the administration to nix Secure Communities, which requires local authorities to check the fingerprints of arrestees against a federal database. The idea is to deport dangerous criminals, many of whom have fallen through the cracks over the years.

But immigrant rights advocates insist the program is racist, has led to the removal of hard-working immigrants who contribute to society and has tragically separated families. They want the Obama Administration to get rid of it and that could very well happen as the president panders for votes in 2012. In fact, the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General announced this week that it’s planning an investigation of Secure Communities.

The probe will determine the extent to which the program is used to identify and remove dangerous criminal aliens from the United States, according to a news report of the inspector general’s plans. The IG will also examine cost and the accuracy of the data collection and determine if Secure Communities is being applied “equitably across communities.”

On behalf of the Obama White House and the U.S. Department of Defense, Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus announced Wednesday the selection of a Naval vessel named after an avowed follower of Marxist activist and author Saul Alinsky.

The USNS Cesar Chavez was selected as latest addition to the 14th Lewis and Clark class of dry cargo/ammunition ships.

Continuing the Lewis and Clark-class tradition of honoring legendary pioneers and explorers, the Navy’s newest underway replenishment ship honors the memory of Mexican-American civil rights activist Cesar Chavez.

Chavez served in the Navy from 1944-1946, but described his experience in the military as “the two worst years of my life.” After leaving the service he became a leader in the American Labor Movement and a civil rights activist who co-founded the National Farm Workers Association, which later became the United Farm Workers, according to the Navy Secretary.

Chavez’s mentor was activist Fred Ross. Ross began organizing and obtained the interest of Saul Alinsky, a well known organizer and head of the Industrial Areas Foundation. Alinsky is credited with influencing Americans such as Barack Obama with his teachings and writings such as his book Rules for Radicals.

Current news media and blogger reports continue to raise questions about the handling of operations involving gun trafficking into Mexico — specifically the allegation that the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has had a policy of permitting, and even encouraging, the movement of guns into Mexico by purchasers. This practice may have contributed to the deaths of hundreds on both sides of the border, including federal law enforcement agents.

The rationale for the operation that went awry was that Attorney General Eric Holder and his staff at the Justice Department wanted to show proof of his, and other Obama administration officials’, statements that the majority of firearms used by Mexican drug cartels originated in the United States and are smuggled into that drug war-torn country.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), the Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, in a biting letter to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) Acting Director Kenneth E. Melson, criticized the Director for failing to produce any documents in response to a subpoena issued more than a month ago on March 31 regarding “Operation Gunrunner.”

The subpoena was issued after ATF and Department of Justice officials failed to cooperate in good faith with the Committee’s investigation, according to Rep. Issa.

Does Congress listen?

It could be time to find out, as the threats to marriage across America are legion: the creation of same-sex “marriage” by judges, the overturning of voter-approved amendments limiting marriage to one man and one woman and the stunning decision by the White House to not defend the law of the land, the federal Defense of Marriage Act.

That’s even though when voters are given the choice, they’ve formally defined marriage as being between one man and one woman 31 times out of 31 elections.

There is a way to get the attention now of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House, where members have approved an outside legal team to take up the defense of DOMA, which is under challenge in a number of cases seeking to establish homosexual marriage.

It’s the “Time to Defend Marriage: The Genesis 2:24 Campaign,” which is being expanded to include members of both the Senate and House, and is attracting more and more support, including that recently added from the Family Research Council.

Take part in this innovative, high-tech, grass-roots lobbying campaign to urge Congress to protect marriage.

The campaign lets constituents send letters to each of the 435 members of the U.S. House and each of the 100 U.S. senators for a cost of $29.99, only a fraction of what just postage would cost should someone take on the project alone.

An Al Shabaab leader this week claimed it was Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda that was instrumental in ousting Maj. General Mohammed Si’ad Barre, who headed Somalia’s military regime.

Sheikh Mukhtar Rabow, a/k/a Abu Mansur, an Al Shabaab terrorist group official, made the claim while speaking at memorial in honor of the now deceased bin Laden on Wednesday in a town near the Somali capital of Mogadishu where Al Shabaab continues to rule.
“In [the early] 1990s, the martyred al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden had sent a number of his fighters to Somalia to train some of Somali guerrillas in order to help depose Somali military regime,” Abu Mansur said, according to an unclassified intelligence report.

Abu Mansur claims that Osama also played a key role in financing the Somali Islamic forces and gave them material support such as providing them with firearms and rocket-propelled grenades and launchers.

He stated that Al Shabaab depends on the military and financial support of al Qaeda that both terrorist organizations are united.

Abu Mansur boasted that the killing of the al Qaeda leader in Pakistan will not undermine Al Shabaab’s efforts and battles to topple the United Nations-backed government of Somalia, which is internationally recognized. Besides Somali government forces, African Union peacekeepers are posted in the war-torn country.

Osama bin Laden is experiencing one of death’s disadvantages: his dirty laundry is being exposed especially his penchant for viewing pornography. Among the items recovered from his hideout in Pakistan, the Navy SEALs confiscated a “stash” of pornographic material.

While not much is known about bin Laden’s sexual proclivities, the discovery of pornographic material shouldn’t shock most Americans since radical Muslims also share a penchant for hypocrisy when it comes to deviant sexual behavior.

As reported earlier this year by the Law Enforcement Examiner, one issue that’s avoided is the widespread sexual intercourse between Afghan Taliban men and young boys. In non- diplomatic terms, Afghanistan is a haven for child rape.

In a religion some consider overly repressive due to its adherence to the precepts contained in the Koran, it’s difficult for American servicemembers and diplomats to understand the fact that a large portion of the Afghan male population are pedophiles (adults who enjoy sexual contact with prepubescent children) or pederasts (adults who enjoy sexual relations with pubescent or post-pubescent children).

While Muslims in Iraq have on several occasions stoned homosexuals for their sexual activities, not all Muslims believe pedophilia is a violation of Shariah law. Those who believe in the sacredness and infallibility of the Koran adhere to the teaching that women are sub-human and quasi-slaves, and therefore Muslim men will look for relationships — even sexual relationships — with others of their own gender.

According to Reuters, there is a lot of homosexuality going on in Afghanistan, but those engaging in it don’t think of themselves as gay, so that makes it okay since Islam officially disapproves of the gay and lesbian lifestyle.

“The President implying, we’ve done enough, the border is secure, does not make it so. Our border is definitely not secure. The Government Accountability Office has determined that only 15 percent of the border is under operational control. The time has come for real action, not words.” – Congressman Peter King (R-NY)

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama’s visit to southern Texas to discuss immigration and border security opened the door to renewed debate on amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.

Fresh from his Osama Victory Tour, Obama capitalized on his increased popularity due to the killing of terrorism chief Osama bin Laden in hopes of shoring up his Latino vote with the promise of amnesty, while at the same time praising his administration’s immigration policies.

Obama claimed he increased the number of Border Patrol agents from about 10,000 to more than 20,700. However, an examination of records reveals that the increase in border agents occurred during the Bush Administration when the number of agents reached upwards of 18,000 in 2008.

In addition, the President touted his Homeland Security Department statistics that claimed his administration deported a record number of illegal aliens, most of whom had a criminal records.
