My Take – For Friday, 10/15/10:

Pleased to meet you…hope you guess my name.

There are times when even as optimistic a guy as I am, I can get down and that’s the kind of week it’s been for me.

I mean, c’mon…Brown and Whitman? That’s a choice? Angle and Reid…definitely Angle, but will she be what we need? And does anyone really see Palin as president?

So, while in my own little funk, I found some recreation reading when I came across a story about Keith Richards, who has just written a tell all book, and in it, he says that Mick Jagger was unbearable and that even though they’ve been friends since they were 4, they’re not now particularly close.

He also says the Stones will be touring again, and that he’s not going to be dying any time soon, because he’s not ready to see his “…oId friend Lucifer” just yet.

To that, I can only say you can’t always get what you want.
