In his first interview since the Iraq election, Ad Melkert said that the UN is looking into individual complaints including missing voter names and tampering with election data.
If anyone thinks these Iraqi elections aren’t rigged, they must be on drugs. The USA and the global government crowd wouldn’t allow an open free election in a million years. RF

TOKYO — The Japanese Coast Guard on Friday arrested an anti-whaling activist from New Zealand who had boarded a whaling ship in the southern Antarctic last month.
Peter Bethune, of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, was brought back to Tokyo by the whaling ship, the Shonan Maru 2, which he boarded without permission on Feb. 15. Coast Guard officials were waiting for him at the docks in Tokyo, along with a throng of Japanese reporters and television crews.
Mr. Bethune, 44, was being held in Coast Guard custody in Tokyo, said a guard spokesman, Tomoyuki Suzuki, adding that Mr. Bethune had been formally charged with “vessel invasion.” A Coast Guard investigation was under way, he said, and it was expected that Mr. Bethune would be transferred to police custody on Sunday.
Normally, I could care less about these incidents. Mostly I approach them with the good riddance factor as my guide. However, if you have ever seen how defiant and vigilant these Japanese are at killing these gorgeous creatures, illegally I might add, it’s a shame. This is one time that the animal right folks might actually have a debate. To that I say “sink the Japanese whalers”. RF

WASHINGTON – The White House and Congressional leaders put Democrats on notice Friday stating that they would push ahead next week toward climactic votes on the health care legislation, with President Obama delaying a foreign trip.
I suppose it’s their political death wish, but, as I said the other day, if I were an American under 35 today, I would probably be building gallows to deal with these crooks in Washington D.C., the State legislations, and the bloated bureaucrats. RF
The Boys & Girls Club of America, a nationwide charity that receives millions of dollars in taxpayer funding, is under fire for paying out high salaries to executives such as CEO Roxanne Spillett at a time when the organization is closing clubs around the country.
A group of Republican senators, led by the Senate Finance Committee’s ranking member Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, sent a letter to the organization Thursday criticizing the non-profit organization’s use of tens of millions of dollars in federal funds that it receives every year. The lawmakers concerns are that the money is being spent on perks, retirement plans, lobbying expenses and high salaries.
The answer is: Don’t give these greedy scum bags any donations! I don’t think a million dollar plus salary for running a charity is the right tone to set. No humility, no conscience; Give me a break! RF
SAN FRANCISCO — The federal court that touched off a furor in 2002, when they declared the words “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance to be an unconstitutional endorsement of religion, took another look at the issue Thursday and said the phrase invokes patriotism, not religious faith.
The daily schoolroom ritual is not a prayer, but instead “a recognition of our founders’ political philosophy that a power greater than the government gives the people their inalienable rights,” stated the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco in a 2-1 ruling.
“Thus, the pledge is an endorsement of our form of government, not of religion or any particular sect.”
Sadly, American’s have lost their way. They have traded away religious heritage and freedom, in the name of progressivism, that Alexis D’Toqueville and others found so alluring about early America. American’s have lost their souls. They, like the deviants in Sodom and Gomorrah, will pay the price for their sins; whatever you do, don’t look back. RF
(CNN) — An evangelical leader is calling for a boycott of Glenn Beck’s television show and challenging the Fox News personality to a public debate after Beck vilified churches that preach economic and social justice.
The Rev. Jim Wallis, president of Sojourners, a network of progressive Christians, says Beck perverted Jesus’ message when he urged Christians last week to leave churches that preach social and economic justice.
Beck is right. God didn’t see government as the helper of the poor. That is the duty of those who call themselves “faithful”. The church, not the tax payer, should feed, help, and train the poor. RF

March 12 (Bloomberg) — Americans braved blizzards and overcame job concerns to propel retail sales in February, pointing to a broadening in growth that will help sustain the expansion.
If you think the economy is expanding, other than the amount of monopoly money we are printing to pay our debt, you would be mistaken. Better get prepared for the worst. RF
