John Longenecker was one of the earliest Paramedics in Los Angeles EMS. Today, he is a father of three, a nationally known columnist and author, a talk radio guest and liberty activist on the role of the armed citizen in a nation of self-governance.
In the middle seventies, John saw his share of gunshot wounds, but asked where all the self-defense shootings were. When he later found out where they were - and weren't - he began to research other meanings and powers of the second amendment in how it more profoundly fights tyranny in the 21st century.
The heart of John's message is: "Truly, the health of the second amendment is the primary indicator of the overall health of the nation".
