Glenn Smith Jr

Who is Glenn Smith Jr.? I am first and foremost, a follower of Jesus. I am an author, musician, husband, father, grandfather and, in general, a student of life. Living life with a positive attitude while calling things as I see them are principles that guide my writing. My hope is that I make you think about things, as opposed to just entertaining you. From politics to religion, I try to bring a common sense perspective to my topics. You cannot go through life always walking backwards, you must look forward. I try not to just present a problem, but also a solution. My philosophy is that you can win and be successful, everytime. I am the author of the book "The Key of Forgiveness", which is available at Amazon.com, Co-Owner of Eagle's Wings Publishing and administrator/co-creator of regularguy.com.

Every day is a great day, for somebody.

There is a new civil war brewing in this grand country of ours. The battle lines are being drawn up by BOTH the executive AND the legislative branches in [...]

Last week we were “treated” to a blistering speech from Mexican President Felipe Calderon. These are possibly the 5 best sentences you’ll ever read:
You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

I thought it would be interesting to shed a little light on what is driving our current administration. As you all know now, the Democrats really don’t care about the US Constitution.       As a Christian teacher, I hear this question far to often: “How can a God of love send people to hell?” My response is generally that He doesn’t, they go there willingly. Lately though, I have been hearing more about how we are to just love each other and not judge. As noble as [...]
