A young boy is quickly becoming a martyr for the thousands of Syrian rebels calling for the end of Bashar Al-Assad’s brutal and oppressive Ba’ath Party government.

The youngster, identified by rebels as Hamza Al-Khatib, was helping to deliver relief supplies of food, blankets and medicine to the residents of the Syrian district of Daraa who were being prevented from leaving their home by the Syrian military.

A U.S. intelligence source tells the Law Enforcement Examiner that 13-year old was arrested and tortured to death by members of the Syrian secret police. His body four weeks turned up four-weeks later when it was left in front of his home wrapped in plastic. His parents were further shocked to discover his genitalia were sliced off.

Although the concept of psychopathy has been known for centuries, the FBI leads the world in the research effort to develop a series of assessment tools, to evaluate the personality traits and behaviors attributable to psychopaths.

Interpersonal traits include glibness, superficial charm, a grandiose sense of self-worth, pathological lying, and the manipulation of others. The affective traits include a lack of remorse and/or guilt, shallow affect, a lack of empathy, and failure to accept responsibility. The lifestyle behaviors include stimulation-seeking behavior, impulsivity, irresponsibility, parasitic orientation, and a lack of realistic life goals.

Research has demonstrated that in those criminals who are psychopathic, scores vary, ranging from a high degree of psychopathy to some measure of psychopathy. However, not all violent offenders are psychopaths and not all psychopaths are violent offenders. If violent offenders are psychopathic, they are able to assault, rape, and murder without concern for legal, moral, or social consequences. This allows them to do what they want, whenever they want. Ironically, these same traits exist in men and women who are drawn to high-profile and powerful positions in society including political officeholders.

The USNS Cesar Chavez was selected as latest addition to the 14th Lewis and Clark class of dry cargo/ammunition ships.

Continuing the Lewis and Clark-class tradition of honoring legendary pioneers and explorers, the Navy’s newest underway replenishment ship honors the memory of Mexican-American civil rights activist Cesar Chavez.

Chavez served in the Navy from 1944-1946, but described his experience in the military as “the two worst years of my life.” After leaving the service he became a leader in the American Labor Movement and a civil rights activist who co-founded the National Farm Workers Association, which later became the United Farm Workers, according to the Navy Secretary.

Chavez’s mentor was activist Fred Ross. Ross began organizing and obtained the interest of Saul Alinsky, a well known organizer and head of the Industrial Areas Foundation. Alinsky is credited with influencing Americans such as Barack Obama with his teachings and writings such as his book Rules for Radicals.

While not much is known about bin Laden’s sexual proclivities, the discovery of pornographic material shouldn’t shock most Americans since radical Muslims also share a penchant for hypocrisy when it comes to deviant sexual behavior.

As reported earlier this year by the Law Enforcement Examiner, one issue that’s avoided is the widespread sexual intercourse between Afghan Taliban men and young boys. In non- diplomatic terms, Afghanistan is a haven for child rape.

In a religion some consider overly repressive due to its adherence to the precepts contained in the Koran, it’s difficult for American servicemembers and diplomats to understand the fact that a large portion of the Afghan male population are pedophiles (adults who enjoy sexual contact with prepubescent children) or pederasts (adults who enjoy sexual relations with pubescent or post-pubescent children).

While Muslims in Iraq have on several occasions stoned homosexuals for their sexual activities, not all Muslims believe pedophilia is a violation of Shariah law. Those who believe in the sacredness and infallibility of the Koran adhere to the teaching that women are sub-human and quasi-slaves, and therefore Muslim men will look for relationships — even sexual relationships — with others of their own gender.

According to Reuters, there is a lot of homosexuality going on in Afghanistan, but those engaging in it don’t think of themselves as gay, so that makes it okay since Islam officially disapproves of the gay and lesbian lifestyle.

“Detainee reporting accounts for more than half of all HUMINT [human intelligence] reporting on al-Qaeda since the program began…”

Documents recently released by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) demonstrate the valuable information gained by so-called “enhanced interrogation techniques,” that ultimately led to the recent killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. A non-partisan watchdog group obtained the documents as a result of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.

In March 2011, Judicial Watch — a public-interest organization that investigates and prosecutes government corruption — released documents obtained from the Department of Defense (DOD) detailing the policies of the Bush administration related to the detention of “enemy combatants” at Guantanamo Bay, as well as the significant risks posed to the general population if the detainees were released.

The documents include a February 4, 2004, draft presentation entitled “Guantanamo Detainees” previously marked “Not for Public Dissemination.” It specifically references the role of “couriers” in the bin Laden network, noting that enemy combatants at Guantanamo Bay include “members of al-Qaeda’s international terrorism support network, including financiers, couriers, recruiters and operatives.”

The DOD documents obtained by Judicial Watch further state that “Detainees have revealed al-Qaeda leadership structures, operatives, funding mechanisms, communications methods, training and selection programs, travel patterns, support infrastructures, and plans for attacking the United States and other countries” and “information on [Osama bin Laden] personal security procedures.”

This is consistent with documents previously obtained in a separate Judicial Watch lawsuit that detail the overall effectiveness of “enhanced interrogation techniques” against captured terrorists.

Over the past few years, the United States has increased its emphasis on training and equipping foreign police as a means of supporting a wide range of U.S. foreign-policy goals, including countering terrorists overseas and stopping the flow of narcotics to the United States.

Funding for these activities has increased significantly since the GAO last reported on these issues in 1992.

In response to congressional request, GAO analysts estimated the amount of the funding the U.S. government provided for activities to train and equip foreign police, referred to as “police assistance,” during fiscal year 2009. Also, the GAO defined “police” as all law-enforcement units or personnel with arrest, investigative, or interdiction authorities.

President Felipe Calderon and other Mexican government officials are accusing American manufacturers and retailers of providing the guns that are illegally exported to Mexico by the drug cartels.

With the Mexican officials admitting that 35,000 people have been killed in Mexico since Calderon became President of Mexico in 2006 at which time he declared all-out war on the drug cartels and their associates, observers believe these officials are seeking to put the blame for the death and violence on their northern neighbor.

Also, the U.S. Department of State re-issued a travel advisory to Americans about the violence and danger that exists in Mexico, including its resort areas such as Acapulco and Cancun. In Acapulco, police discovered mass graves containing the remains of people allegedly murdered by the cartels such as Los Zetas.

The latest advisory warns about risks of attack in nearly every part of Mexico. Previous advisories warned of violence in specific parts of Mexico, most notably Juarez, where drug gangs are murdering one another for control of trafficking routes into the U.S.

A federal law enforcement official told the Law Enforcement Examiner that the U.S. Justice Department is trying to avoid involvement in the Mexican government’s plan to sue gun manufacturers and retailers in American courts.

The non-governmental agency Human Rights Watch claimed on Friday that one of its observers photographed three mortar-launched projectiles exploding over a residential area of Misrata.

The area where Human Rights Watch witnessed the use of cluster munitions is about 1 kilometer from the front line between rebels and government forces. The submunitions appear to have landed about 300 meters from Misrata hospital. Human Rights Watch could not inspect the impact sites due to security concerns, according to the organization’s press statement.

Human Rights Watch has not yet been able to determine if civilians in Misrata have been wounded or killed by cluster munitions. Human Rights Watch interviewed two ambulance drivers who said they had witnessed cluster strikes prior to April 14.

A meeting of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) foreign ministers in Berlin ended Friday without reaching an agreement with non-participating member countries to contribute warplanes to the enforcement of the United Nations-sanctioned no-fly zone over Libya.

The US, UK and France officials stated in a joint media release that the danger to Libyan civilians will continue as long as Col. Khadhafi maintains power. The Russian government condemned NATO, accusing it of exceeding the UN resolution to protect civilians from the onslaught or retaliation of Khadhafi’s military or the mercenaries the dictator hired from nearby African countries.

Releasing photographs of cluster munitions, officials from the New York-based Human Rights Watch claimed three projectiles had exploded over Misrata.

Air Force General Douglas Fraser, commanding officer of the U.S. Southern Command, said Iran has significantly increased the number of Iranian embassies in the region while building “cultural centers” and mosques in more than 15 Latin American countries.

Gen. Fraser reported to the Senate Armed Services Committee that military intelligence confirmed that Iran hosted heads of state from three countries: Bolivia, Guyana and Venezuela.

This was not the first time U.S. Senators from both parties were warned about Latin America’s vulnerability to radical Islam. In 2007, the Bush Administration’s chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine General Peter Pace, warned members of the Senate Armed Services Committee that elements of radical Islamic groups were active in South America recruiting and training terrorists.

Pace mentioned Hezbollah and al-Qaeda, yet the Democrat-controlled Senate ignored Gen. Pace’s warning.
Three suspected al-Qaeda associates who were apprehended in West Africa by U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents during an international anti-drug operation, were extradited to New York and appeared in federal court in Manhattan earlier this year, according to reports obtained by the National Association of Chiefs of Police’s Terrorism and Narcotics & Dangerous Drugs committees.

“[O]n at least 23 occasions its highly specialized Behavior Detection Officers failed to stop terrorists from boarding planes, investigators found. At least 16 people who were later charged or pleaded guilty to terrorism charges slipped through eight different U.S. airports with SPOT programs, according to the GAO’s findings.”

On Thursday, U.S. Congress members on the Homeland Security Committee led by Rep. Peter King (R-NY) obtained an important report from the Government Accountability Office on aviation security and it proved to be a disturbing document.

The attempted passenger aircraft bombing of Northwest flight 253 on December 25, 2009, provided a vivid reminder that the civil aviation system remains an attractive terrorist target. To enhance aviation security, the Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) began testing its Screening of Passengers by Observation Techniques (SPOT) program to identify persons who may pose a risk to aviation security.

The SPOT program utilizes behavior observation and analysis techniques to identify potentially high-risk passengers. GAO analysts provided Congress with information on the extent to which TSA has validated the scientific basis for SPOT and other operational challenges.

“Years after implementing a costly passenger screening program, the Homeland Security agency responsible for protecting the nation’s transportation system failed to detect terrorists at U.S. airports on nearly two dozen occasions,” according to Tom Fitton, President of Judicial Watch.

As a result the terrorists slipped right through “security” checkpoints and boarded commercial airplanes, according to the GAO report that’s difficult to swallow nearly a decade after the worst terrorist attacks in U.S. history.

The Latino group produced a video which it was posted on the Internet web site YouTube following Mr. Hayes testifying — by invitation of Maryland State Delegate Pat McDonough — on March 15 before the Judiciary Committee of the Maryland House of Delegates. Hayes’ testimony revealed his opposition to providing taxpayer dollars for in-state tuition benefits for illegal aliens.
The video begins with the message “[expletive] you ‘Mayate,’” which is reportedly a racist and derogatory term used to smear African Americans and “dark skinned” people.

The video then streams a series of racist images including: the silhouette of a man hanging from a noose, photos of Mr. Hayes adjacent to photos of monkeys and bananas and doctored photos of Mr. Hayes pictured with a gun next to his head. The video, which runs two minutes and nine seconds, concludes with the message “Your (sic) FREE Now Mayate go back to Africa.”

The video was initially posted to the video web site YouTube by a group with the moniker “The Timmytop,” and was subsequently removed. The Timmytop Youtube “channel” includes a number of extremist propaganda videos with messages such as “This Is Our Land Whiteboy [expletive] you Gringo.”

The videos appear to express support for the La Raza/Aztlan movement, which seeks to conquer the American Southwest and “return” it to Mexico. Notably, the videos attack black and white Americans.

Thousands of classified military documents were leaked and distributed into the Internet’s public forum last summer, prompting an immediate investigation from the top down, according to Terri Cronk of the American Forces Press Service.

Officials since have singled out the weakest link in the department’s security chain, and began a checks-and-balances system to stem the flood of the critical defense data, Teresa M. Takai, chief information officer and acting assistant secretary of defense for networks and information integration, told the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee.

“The department immediately began working to address the findings and improve its overall security posture to mitigate the possibility of another similar type of disclosure,” she said.

Takai told Senate members that Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates immediately called for two internal studies to review the department’s information security policy and to unveil how classified information is handled in forward-deployed areas. The results showed that forward-deployed units had an “over-reliance” on using removable electronic storage media, Takai said.

The ‘China Syndrome’ refers to the most drastically severe meltdown a nuclear reactor could possibly achieve. In this case, the reactor would reach the highest level for a sustained period of time, resulting in the melting of its support infrastructure. The uranium in the core would behave in a similar manner to a delta-class fire, self-sustaining temperatures in excess of 2000°C. Since these temperatures would melt all materials around it, the reactor would sink due to gravity, effectively boring a hole through the reactor compartment’s floor. An explosion at the earthquake-damaged nuclear power plant in Okuma, Japan (Fukushima Daiichi) , appears to have led to a nuclear reactor meltdown, according to experts.

According to officials at the Department of Energy, a meltdown occurs when the control rods fail to contain the emissions and heat levels within the reactor which in turn rise to a point where the fuel itself melts. Generally temperatures in excess of 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit occur, causing uncontrolled radiation-generating reactions and making the reactor extremely hazardous.

While a serious condition, the initial meltdown does not necessarily mean a nuclear disaster. One expert tells the Law Enforcement Examiner that as long as the reactor’s core remains intact, the melted fuel can be dealt with. If the core breaches but the containment facility built around the core remains intact, the melted fuel can still be dealt with — typically entombed within specialized concrete — but the cost and difficulty of such containment increase.

After practically bringing down President Barack Obama’s pride and joy political organization ACORN with the help of his partner Hannah Giles, citizen journalist James O’Keefe, 26, released a new video that may just end the leftist stranglehold on National Public Radio.

In a video taped using a hidden camera, the conservative investigative reporter shows undercover associates posing as potential Muslim donors meeting with two NPR fundraisers who are caught on the tape making candid, awkward comments about the Republican Party — as well as discussing the controversial firing of NPR commentator Juan Williams, who also worked for Fox News Channel as a liberal-left political analyst.

O’Keefe’s latest shocker reveals NPR fundraisers Ron Schiller and Betsy Liley at lunch with two men play-acting as Muslim contributers. The NPR duo are seen and heard telling the supposed contributors what they obviously wished to hear from the two “development” executives.

Ron Schiller is heard on the video saying, “[V]ery little of our funding comes from the government.” He’s also heard saying, “The current Republican Party, particularly the tea party, is fanatically involved in people’s personal lives and very fundamental Christian — and I wouldn’t even call it Christian.”

“Basically, they believe in white, middle America, gun toting — it’s pretty scary. They’re seriously racist…” said Schiller.

Schiller has since left his job as NPR Foundation’s senior vice president for development.

 Harold James Nicholson, 59, will serve this latest 8-year prison sentence following the completion of a 23-year prison term the renegade intelligence agent is currently serving in connection with his 1997 espionage conviction in the Eastern District of Virginia.     This case represents the first time a convicted spy has pled guilty to new crimes involving espionage while already incarcerated for espionage.  

Nicholson, a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) deputy station chief, is serving his current sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Sheridan, Oregon, for a 1997 conviction for conspiracy to commit espionage. In that case, during his assignment as a deputy chief of station in Manila, Philippines he began meeting with Russian intelligence officers. Those meetings were authorized as part of his CIA duties, but it is now believed Nicholson used them as cover when he was “flipped” by the KGB. These meetings are believed to be the beginning of Nicholson’s work for the Russians which culminated with his 1997 arrest and conviction. 

At his most recent plea hearing, Nicholson admitted that from 2006 to December 2008, with the assistance of his son Nathaniel, he acted on behalf of the Russian Federation by passing information to the Russian Federation while receiving cash proceeds for his past espionage activities for the Russians.

The reason for this latest cancellation is the continued technical equipment problems and the rising costs of constructing and installing the components including closed-circuit TV cameras and monitors, electronic detectors, and other security measures.  

As reported by the Law Enforcement Examiner, the original border security plan called for a fence and barriers to be used on parts of the U.S.’s southern border, but with the Democrats controlling both houses of Congress and the Bush Administration being weak on border security, the plan switched from a real fence to a virtual fence using high-tech equipment. 

Unfortunately, the Department of Homeland Security’s latest failure to protect the United State, was a costly program to place crucial electronic surveillance systems along the U.S.-Mexico border that is years behind schedule. The security project is grossly over budget because Secretary Janet Napolitano’s agency hasn’t adequately managed the contractor doing the work, according to a Washington, DC watchdog group. 

As a result, hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars will be wasted and the porous southern border will continue to be vulnerable despite the Obama Administration’s assurances that it’s as secure as it’s ever been. So far the troubled project, known as Secure Border Initiative Network, has cost the government $672 million although it’s nowhere near completion, according to Judicial Watch, a public-interest group that investigates political corruption.

After years of debates, congressional votes, government studies and political posturing by lawmakers, the so-called “virtual fence” continues to cause more problems than it solves, according to testimony at a session of the House Homeland Security Committee.

In a compromise that met with disappointment by those who advocate tighter border security, instead of walls or chain link fencing, the U.S. Border Patrol and Homeland Security Department created the concept of virtual fence security that includes surveillance cameras, motion or heat sensing detectors, radar, and supposed state-of-the-art control towers designed to detect and prevent illegal immigration and drug smuggling into…
