This move is part of a bigger plan to perhaps eliminate the federal program (Secure Communities) that identified the illegal alien in the first place, according to Judicial Watch, an organization that investigates and prosecutes political and government corruption.

The influential open borders movement — which includes the ACLU — has aggressively pressured the administration to nix Secure Communities, which requires local authorities to check the fingerprints of arrestees against a federal database. The idea is to deport dangerous criminals, many of whom have fallen through the cracks over the years.

But immigrant rights advocates insist the program is racist, has led to the removal of hard-working immigrants who contribute to society and has tragically separated families. They want the Obama Administration to get rid of it and that could very well happen as the president panders for votes in 2012. In fact, the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General announced this week that it’s planning an investigation of Secure Communities.

The probe will determine the extent to which the program is used to identify and remove dangerous criminal aliens from the United States, according to a news report of the inspector general’s plans. The IG will also examine cost and the accuracy of the data collection and determine if Secure Communities is being applied “equitably across communities.”

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama’s visit to southern Texas to discuss immigration and border security opened the door to renewed debate on amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.

Fresh from his Osama Victory Tour, Obama capitalized on his increased popularity due to the killing of terrorism chief Osama bin Laden in hopes of shoring up his Latino vote with the promise of amnesty, while at the same time praising his administration’s immigration policies.

Obama claimed he increased the number of Border Patrol agents from about 10,000 to more than 20,700. However, an examination of records reveals that the increase in border agents occurred during the Bush Administration when the number of agents reached upwards of 18,000 in 2008.

In addition, the President touted his Homeland Security Department statistics that claimed his administration deported a record number of illegal aliens, most of whom had a criminal records.

Over the past few years, the United States has increased its emphasis on training and equipping foreign police as a means of supporting a wide range of U.S. foreign-policy goals, including countering terrorists overseas and stopping the flow of narcotics to the United States.

Funding for these activities has increased significantly since the GAO last reported on these issues in 1992.

In response to congressional request, GAO analysts estimated the amount of the funding the U.S. government provided for activities to train and equip foreign police, referred to as “police assistance,” during fiscal year 2009. Also, the GAO defined “police” as all law-enforcement units or personnel with arrest, investigative, or interdiction authorities.

Mirroring President Bill Clinton’s 1990s reductions in defense spending that some critics claim led to the terrorist attacks against the US and its interests, Obama is planning his own set of defense cuts with the blessings of his Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The president stated that he plans to work with Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates and with Navy Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to find more savings within the Defense Department to help in reducing the federal deficit.

“Secretary Gates believes that the Department of Defense cannot be exempt from efforts to bring federal deficit spending under control,” Pentagon Press Secretary Geoff Morrell said. “However, it is important that any reduction in funding be shaped by strategy and policy choices, and not by a budget math exercise.”

The Pentagon already has cut back spending by more than $400 billion over the past two years. The president said he believes the department is capable of matching that effort again to help in realizing $2 trillion in savings as part of an effort to reduce federal borrowing by $4 trillion over the next 12 years.

“The president acknowledged that the Department of Defense has been at the forefront in tearing back unneeded, duplicative and obsolete programs and administrative overhead,” Morrell said. “[He] wants us to continue this effort with the goal of significant additional savings over the coming decade.

Even before the recession, immigrant households with children used welfare programs at consistently higher rates than natives, according to the extensive census data collected and analyzed by the Center for Immigration Studies, a nonpartisan Washington D.C. group dedicated to researching legal and illegal immigration in the U.S. The results, published this month in a lengthy report, are hardly surprising.

According to analysis by Judicial Watch, the majority of households across the country benefiting from publicly-funded welfare programs are headed by immigrants, both legal and illegal. States where immigrant households with children have the highest welfare use rates are Arizona with 62%, Texas, California and New York with 61% each and Pennsylvania at 59%.

The study focused on eight major welfare programs that cost the government $517 billion the year they were examined. They include Supplemental Security Income (SSI) for the disabled, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), a nutritional program known as Women, Infants and Children (WIC), food stamps, free/reduced school lunch, public housing and health insurance for the poor (Medicaid).

A lawsuit against the Obama Department of Health and Human Services was filed on Thursday to obtain records related to the creation and funding of advertisements pushing the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare.
The legal action was initiated by a public-interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption and fraud.

Judicial Watch officials filed the lawsuit with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on March 23, 2011, which marked the one year anniversary of President Barack Obama’s signing of the Affordable Care Act, making it the law of the land.

According to numerous news reports and polls, the majority of Americans opposed the creation of Obamacare and so began a multi-faceted campaign by the Obama White House and Democrat lawmakers to sway public opinion through personal appearances, news show interviews and television advertisements.

On December 15, 2010, Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with HHS seeking the following information: “All records concerning the creation and/or funding of advertisements on the Affordable Care Act.” On December 17, 2010, Judicial Watch received confirmation from HHS that its request was received. Judicial Watch received additional confirmation from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a component of HHS, on January 14, 2011. By law, a response to Judicial Watch’s FOIA request was due no later than February 14, 2011.

However, to date, no documents have been produced. Moreover, HHS has failed to indicate when the government agency would turnover the requested documents.

After practically bringing down President Barack Obama’s pride and joy political organization ACORN with the help of his partner Hannah Giles, citizen journalist James O’Keefe, 26, released a new video that may just end the leftist stranglehold on National Public Radio.

In a video taped using a hidden camera, the conservative investigative reporter shows undercover associates posing as potential Muslim donors meeting with two NPR fundraisers who are caught on the tape making candid, awkward comments about the Republican Party — as well as discussing the controversial firing of NPR commentator Juan Williams, who also worked for Fox News Channel as a liberal-left political analyst.

O’Keefe’s latest shocker reveals NPR fundraisers Ron Schiller and Betsy Liley at lunch with two men play-acting as Muslim contributers. The NPR duo are seen and heard telling the supposed contributors what they obviously wished to hear from the two “development” executives.

Ron Schiller is heard on the video saying, “[V]ery little of our funding comes from the government.” He’s also heard saying, “The current Republican Party, particularly the tea party, is fanatically involved in people’s personal lives and very fundamental Christian — and I wouldn’t even call it Christian.”

“Basically, they believe in white, middle America, gun toting — it’s pretty scary. They’re seriously racist…” said Schiller.

Schiller has since left his job as NPR Foundation’s senior vice president for development.

According to the Pentagon, Private 1st Class Bradley E. Manning, a low-level military intelligence analyst, allegedly “uploaded” unauthorized software onto government computers to extract classified information. He then unlawfully downloaded the data, improperly stored it, and then transmitted the classified data to unauthorized personnel which allowed the general public access to classified intelligence.

Pvt, Manning’s actions — and those of the Wikileaks owner, Julian Assange — have aided enemies in acquiring military and diplomatic information and the investigation remains ongoing, officials said.

“The new charges more accurately reflect the broad scope of the crimes that Private 1st Class Manning is accused of committing,” said Captain John Haberland, a legal spokesman for U.S. Army Military District of Washington. “The new charges will not affect Private 1st Class Manning’s right to a speedy trial or his pretrial confinement.”

According to the Washington, DC-based public-interest group Accuracy in Media, a number of sources said that Manning was angry with the military over its stance on homosexual soldiers serving openly. AIM’s analysis revealed that he was unhappy with the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy instituted during the Clinton Administration.

Some Wisconsin doctors have offered, at a public event, to write sickness excuses on request for protesting teachers, according to ABC and Fox News. A spokeswoman said that they knew they could “get in trouble,” but would take the risk because “teachers have no choice.”

The teachers’ choice is to go to work, or go without pay and risk being fired. “It’s the same choice faced by everyone in the world who can’t use someone else’s earnings to pay the bills,” said Jane Orient, M.D., executive director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS).

“Writing a phony sickness excuse is fraud,” said the veteran medical profession.

Doctors are frequently under intense pressure to do this, or to misstate diagnoses, to ‘help’ patients who want to collect sick pay, insurance payments, disability, or other benefits to which they are not lawfully entitled. For doctors to advertise their willingness to do so is, however, distinctly unusual.

In President Barack Obama’s budget proposal, the Internal Revenue Service will receive an and additional $1.1 billion dollars — increasing that agency’s budget to a whopping $13.3 billion. Part of the increase would be used to hire a reported 5,100 new employees responsible for supporting IRS tax-enforcement and collection programs, with 1,500 of them working on ObamaCare regulations and enforcement.

The “pie” is the annual $345 billion tax gap. This budget would indicate that the administration would like to see the IRS take a bigger bite from that pie.

Nationally-syndicated talk host Neal Boortz, a Libertarian, pointed out, “In the last two years, federal government spending has increased by 27%.” Obama and his [Democrats] have said the best they can do is freeze spending.” Bootrz responded

“Not a cut … but a freeze? You know this is a crock and even I know it. There is plenty of room to cut spending … huge cuts … but Democrats have a constituency to bribe — votes to buy — and that takes money,” said Boortz.

The Internal Revenue Service will see its largest expansion since withholding taxes were first enacted during WWII to enforce the glut of new tax mandates and penalties included in the Democrats’ latest health care plan. Up to 1,500 new IRS personnel are expected to be hired to work exclusively on matters related to so-called ObamaCare regulations and fines.

The same government agency that mailed millions in fraudulent tax refunds to prison inmates has been cheated out of $33 million by thousands of people who claimed tax credits for alternative and plug-in electric vehicles, according to a public-interest group that investigates government corruption and fraud.

In automatically granting the bogus tax credits the Internal Revenue Service was simply following an aggressive Obama Administration plan to reward consumers that purchase the costly “advanced-technology” vehicles. The president is on a mission to get 1 million of the environmentally friendly cars on the road by 2015, according to Judicial Watch officials.

“In order to help dealers sell unpopular vehicles, the President Barack Obama and his administration are allowing law-abiding taxpayers to be swindled by a phony environmental program that invites fraud and abuse,” said political strategist Mike Baker.

As a result of Obama pushing his environmental agenda, the IRS failed to appropriately scrutinize claims, even when they clearly didn’t meet the criteria. In the first six months of 2010 alone, 20% of such federal tax credits were “erroneous,” costing U.S. taxpayers more than $33 million.

Obama on Wednesday said that he would like to see the Chinese yuan appreciate faster in value. While Chinese President Hu Jintao indicated that China is committed to allowing the free market to better dictate the value of the yuan, Obama said China is implementing their steps to allow the yuan to appreciate “not as fast as we’d like.”

For years, the U.S. has been criticizing China by calling them “currency manipulators.” However, according to officials with the National Inflation Association, the Federal Reserve is the real currency manipulator because their actions will soon lead to a U.S. Hyperinflationary Great Depression that destroys the lives of all Americans who aren’t prepared for life with a worthless U.S. dollar.

All China is doing is pegging the yuan to the U.S. dollar so that their product manufacturers and exporters can maintain some level of stability. However, the U.S. is using this as an excuse to explain its rapidly deteriorating export market, said the NIA.

Obama was correct when he explained to the world how China would benefit by having a stronger yuan. Obama understands perfectly how a stronger yuan would bring down prices for Chinese citizens and allow them to enjoy a much higher standard of living. In fact, NIA believes China could solve their current inflation crisis simply by allowing the yuan to appreciate alone.

“This is hard to believe, but if someone wished to sabotage the U.S. economy on purpose, all they would need to do is follow Obama’s monetary and economic policies coupled with the currency manipulation of a George Soros,” warns Mike Baker, a long-time political strategist.

China has seen the prices of many food items soar by 25% or more in recent months, which is horrific for a country where many of its citizens spend half of their income on food. While most mainstream economists on CNBC, Bloomberg, and FOX Business are quick to blame China’s food inflation crisis on the weather, NIA believes the weather has very little to do with it. It seems like the weather is always the excuse every time food prices rise. Mainstream economists would have you believe that the world has been experiencing never-ending droughts and floods that continue to worsen each year.
